The Boston Whaler 220 Dauntless is a 22-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull, powered by a single 250 hp Mercury engine. It blends bay boat practicality with offshore capability, designed to work equally well in shallow coastal waters and open water. The layout prioritizes both fishing functionality and passenger comfort across a spacious cockpit.
The forward seating area includes a double lounge seat with large lockable storage and accommodation for seven-foot rods. The stern features a fold-up deck seat and flush design. Seating options are flexible—the helm position can be a reversible pilot seat with integrated cooler, and multiple configurations are available for additional passengers and livewell capacity. A standard bow fishbox and rod holders come fitted as part of the fishing package.
The boat is available with a variety of options to customize the experience. A pre-rigged trolling motor panel is offered, along with a fully installed 36V MotorGuide XI-5 trolling motor. Power Pole stabilization is optional. Navigation and onboard control can be upgraded with Simrad electronics. These systems integrate cleanly into the boat's design and allow owners to tailor the setup to their fishing style and cruising preferences.
