The 2026 Boston Whaler 280 Dauntless is a 28-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by twin Mercury 300 V8 outboards. Designed as a multifunctional bay boat, it combines the stability and safety of Whaler's unsinkable hull construction with the capability to fish inshore shallows or venture offshore for larger species. Its wide beam of nine feet and open layout make efficient use of space while maintaining the maneuverability expected of a modern center console.
