2026 Boston Whaler 280 Dauntless

The 2026 Boston Whaler 280 Dauntless is a 28-foot center console built for offshore fishing and family cruising. Twin Mercury engines producing 600 horsepower drive the boat to a top speed of 50 knots, with a cruising speed around 35 knots. The hull features platinum gelcoat on the sides and underside of the hardtop, complemented by black graphics, canvas, and frame for a refined appearance.

The boat is outfitted with serious fishing and water amenities. A bow casting platform with cushions and table provides dedicated fishing space, while a swim patio extends usability at anchor. An anchor package with windlass and stainless steel anchor, plus a 10-foot Power-Pole shallow water anchor, keeps the boat secure in various conditions. A beach boarding ladder simplifies water access, and a raw water washdown system handles cleanup.

Navigation and entertainment are well supported. Simrad electronics include a 12-inch NSX additional display paired with a 1 kW thru-hull transducer for comprehensive sonar capability. A VHF radio, trolling motor panel, and sun shade round out the helm setup. Below, a vacuflush head and dual battery package with charging system serve daily needs. Premium audio comes from a JL stereo system and premium audio package, while full-height side glass and windshield with ventilation enclose the helm in comfort.
