The 2026 Boston Whaler 280 Outrage is a 28-foot center console built for serious fishing and offshore performance. Powered by twin Mercury engines producing 600 horsepower, it combines capability with comfort across a thoughtful layout. The fiberglass hull measures 9.33 feet at the beam, providing stability and seaworthiness for extended time on the water.
The bow features a generous lounge with armrest and social seating, with storage underneath. Forward of the console, the open layout maximizes flexibility. The aft fishing deck is designed for working—it includes a deluxe leaning post with bait-prep area, a 30-gallon livewell, and two large fish boxes. A comfortable aft bench folds away to open up space when needed.
Navigation and control are handled by integrated Simrad technology. A portside dive door is built into the hull for easy water access. The helm offers optional deluxe seating with an adjustable captain's chair and stationary companion seat. An optional hardtop with full-glass windshield is available, with a heavy-duty integrated hardtop system that includes floodlights and life-jacket storage as an option. A Seakeeper gyro-stabilizing system is also available. A single head is included. The boat comes equipped with one head aboard.
