2026 Boston Whaler 280 Outrage

The 2026 Boston Whaler 280 Outrage is a 28-foot center console built for serious offshore fishing and cruising. Two Mercury engines deliver 600 horsepower, moving the boat with the power and efficiency expected from this class. The hull design combines functional fishing layout with genuine comfort, making it equally suited to a day of angling or extended time on the water.

The open layout maximizes usable space. The bow features a generous lounge with armrest seating and storage beneath. The aft deck is purpose-built for fishing, with a deluxe leaning post, bait-prep area, a 30-gallon livewell, two large fish boxes, and an aft bench that folds away when more working room is needed. A portside dive door provides direct water access.

Navigation and control are handled by integrated Simrad technology. The helm includes optional deluxe seating with an adjustable captain's chair and stationary companion seat. The boat can be equipped with an optional hardtop featuring a full-glass windshield, integrated lighting, and life-jacket storage. A Seakeeper gyro-stabilizing system is also available.
