The C-CAT 38 is a fast-cruising catamaran designed by naval architect Lombard and built by Comar Yachts in Italy. At just over 38 feet long with a nearly 20-foot beam, the hull is composite construction powered by a single 30 hp Nanni diesel engine. The design prioritizes comfort and ease of handling for cruising under reduced crew or family operation.
Below deck, the yacht offers three cabins and one head. Interior joinery features natural oak cabinetry and trim, with oak-finish laminate cabin sole. The main saloon includes a choice of ROMA leatherette or custom fabric upholstery, and cabin berths are finished in cotton Moor bedding available in several colors. Storage is distributed throughout: twin aft lockers, a locker beneath the aft bench, a technical compartment forward for generator or watermaker installation, and an external-access sailbag locker. A cockpit shower and 230V electrical system with charger and three outlets are standard.
The boat is equipped with a mainsail with boom and jib, lazy bag, composite bossun's chairs with dedicated tackle, aluminum boom gallows, and rigging for a Code 0 or spinnaker. Standard gear includes a 1000W anchor winch with 16 kg Delta anchor, 50 meters of 8 mm chain, six fenders with covers, mooring lines, life raft support, hot water heater, stereo, wind and apparent wind instruments, and navigation light. The electronics package comprises dual 7-inch Axiom multifunction displays with WiFi, Ray i70 color screens on both sides, Evolution EV-200 linear autopilot, Ray 60 VHF radio pre-wiring, and European chart coverage. A full safety complement is included: 8-person unlimited life raft, eight lifejackets, horseshoe buoy with light, flares, first aid kit, six fire extinguishers, and sound signal.
