The 2026 Chaparral 280 OSX is a 30-foot fiberglass bowrider built for entertaining and performance. Twin Yamaha F250XSB2 outboards deliver 500 combined horsepower with digital electric steering, enabling a top speed near 60 mph. The hull features Kevlar reinforcement and a 21-degree deep-V design, with composite transom coring and a Perma-Panel structural system. The boat weighs approximately 6,500 pounds dry and holds 123 gallons of fuel.

The design centers on a double-wide bow lounge with folding armrests and a bow filler cushion, complemented by a reversible aft bench that converts between double seating and a sun lounge. A hardtop with bonded skylight and side glass, overhead LED lighting, and a full beam integrated swim platform define the entertaining space. Cockpit storage includes molded side panels, a lockable glove box, and dedicated compartments under the L-shaped aft seating.

A day cabin houses an electric toilet on a hide-away slide, vanity with solid surface countertop and stainless steel sink, teak flooring, and opening portlight with screen. The cabin includes carbon monoxide and smoke detectors and overhead LED lighting. The helm features a custom hand-wrapped console with aluminum dash panels, leather steering wheel, digital gauges, custom molded dash with hand-stitched visor, and stainless steel accents.

Standard equipment includes a fiberglass hardtop with choice of frame color, diamond pattern non-skid deck, cockpit table with storage, heavy-duty rubrail with stainless steel insert, bilge pump with automatic switch, 14-pound plow anchor with 200 feet of rope and 15 feet of chain, and a custom aluminum trailer.
