2026 Chaparral 280 OSX

The 2026 Chaparral 280 OSX is a 28-foot open-style bowrider powered by twin Yamaha 250 hp digital 4-stroke outboards. The fiberglass hull features Atlas Blue gelcoat on the sides, white on the bottom, and a black metallic stripe. A fiberglass hard top with bonded skylight and overhead lighting spans the cockpit, while a tinted-glass tower insert completes the upper structure. The boat comes equipped with dual Simrad NSX9 EVO3 displays offering GPS, chartplotting, transducer data, and engine monitoring through the audio system.

Seating is plentiful and flexible. The bow features a lounge with two folding armrests and a flip-out filler cushion, backed by an insulated cooler beneath the forward seating. The aft bench seat has a reversible backrest that converts from full bench to sun lounge. A cockpit table with dedicated storage and side-mounted bases sits between the seating areas. The helm position includes a wetbar with refrigerator behind the seat. Premium Envision Marine silicone upholstery in Lunar covers the cockpit interior, while snap-in SeaDeck flooring in slate provides the cabin sole.
