The 2026 Chittum 18 Challenger 2.0 is a carbon fiber flats boat built for shallow water and technical poling grounds. Measuring 18 feet with a 6-foot-7-inch beam, the boat features a tunnel hull system designed to draft minimal water while maintaining stability and control. Power comes from a 60-horsepower Tohatsu outboard paired with a Stiffy cavitation plate and Baumann prop.
The layout centers on serious fishing capability. A 12-inch bow casting platform with snow camo Sea-Dek sits forward, while a full poling platform with step and integrated push pole caddy occupies the stern. The side console houses Sea Star hydraulic steering and sits beneath a Matterhorn white hardtop. Rod storage includes five forward-facing conventional racks on the starboard side and three aft-facing fly rod racks to port. An Atlas micro jacker jack plate with H₂O pressure gauge manages trim, and carbon fiber trim tabs fine-tune performance.
Accommodations prioritize comfort and utility. A large rear seat with silver upholstery provides primary seating, while snow camo Sea-Dek covers the cockpit floor and poling platform for grip and visibility. Black Sea-Dek lines the under-gunnels. The dash features an Edson steering wheel and under-gunnel courtesy lights. A Tibor push pole caddy and V-Marine rod holders complete the fishing package.
A 21-gallon fuel cell supplies the engine. The boat comes on a Ramlin single-axle aluminum trailer equipped with spare tire, walk board, transom tie downs, and swing tongue for dry launching capability.
