The 2026 Chittum Skiffs 18 Islamorada is an 18-foot composite flats boat built for shallow-water fishing and performance. Powered by a Yamaha 90 SHO four-stroke engine with a stainless steel prop, it reaches speeds to 43 mph. The hull features a 12-degree deadrise with an 8-inch pad, designed for a soft ride in open water. Construction includes a proprietary sound-deadening system throughout and carbon fiber reinforcement on the cockpit sides, rod racks, and poling platform.

The boat is rigged for serious fishing with a five-hatch layout providing extensive dry storage. A forward casting platform with diamond-shaped design, custom poling platform with carbon step and two rod holders, and high-capacity carbon fiber rod racks under the gunnels accommodate rods and tackle. Additional features include a plumbed and aerated livewell, an open water anchor system with multiple deck locations, a removable lean bar, and a console-mounted 9-inch SIMRAD display networked to the engine.

The helm station includes UFLEX hydraulic steering with 2.5 lock-to-lock, a 13-inch Edson stainless steel wheel, and console-mounted switches with USB charging ports. LED lighting is integrated throughout the compartments, hatches, and nav lights. All hatches are fitted with 316 stainless steel Gemlux flush latches, hinges, and gas shocks with rubber gaskets. A 32-gallon fully baffled aluminum fuel tank and 12-volt Optima battery with console switch support extended use.

The boat comes with a custom aluminum dry-launch trailer featuring walk board, three aluminum mag wheels with radial tires, and LED lights. The exterior is finished in Courtesan Blue.
