The 2026 Cobalt R6 Surf is a 25-foot fiberglass wake and surf boat built around a single 380-horsepower Volvo inboard-outboard engine. It features six ballast tanks and Zero Off cruise control tuned for wake generation, with a flip-down swim step and stainless steel perimeter rail for easy re-entry. The boat carries aluminum wakeboard racks and a stainless steel ski pylon, backed by a Kevlar-reinforced hull and composite transom and stringers for durability.

The interior accommodates 14 persons across an aft-facing rumble seat, convertible sundeck lounger, captain's helm chair, and Varadense comfort seating throughout. A bow walk-thru door provides access to the forward cabin, where a removable 36-quart hard cooler stores provisions. Amenities include a head with porta potti, a 3.5-gallon trash receptacle, and a black leather steering wheel. The boat holds 60 gallons of fuel and 10 gallons of freshwater.

Navigation and control are handled by dual Garmin glass cockpit displays with depth and water temperature monitoring. The sound system integrates six speakers with Bluetooth, USB, and iPod connectivity, with additional arch-mounted speakers available. The helm features dual 12-volt accessory power plugs, illuminated switches, and an hour meter. An aluminum folding arch with bimini provides weather protection while maintaining a 61-inch bridge clearance without the canopy and 102 inches with the arch deployed.

The boat comes equipped with a dual battery switch with automatic charging relay, circuit breaker-protected electrical system, automatic fire extinguisher with manual backup, windlass with all-chain anchor, trim tabs, and docking lights. The gelcoat graphics are molded in, stainless steel cleats and engine vents round out the exterior, and a mooring cover with E2 folding arch is included.
