2026 Cobalt R8 Outboard

The 2026 Cobalt R8 Outboard is a 27.8-foot fiberglass bowrider built for performance and comfort. Powered by twin Mercury 400 Verado V10 outboards, it combines strong capability with efficient handling. The boat is finished in Bayside Blue hull with a Caramel Carbon interior, and comes comprehensively equipped from the factory.

The helm features dual Garmin 8610 glass cockpit displays, power-assisted steering, and a leather steering wheel paired with Pro Control trim tabs for responsive handling. A wireless phone charger and stainless steel foot tread complete the control station. The cockpit centers on a solid teak dinette table and Sof-Trac flooring, with aft walk-through filler cushions and storage lighting. An electric folding arch with rotating sunshade provides weather protection, complemented by RGB LED accent lighting throughout.

The bow offers a center cushion insert and tonneau cover. The boat carries a windlass with full chain anchor system, ski pylon, port side boarding ladder, and stainless steel docking lights.
