The 2026 Cobalt R8 Surf is a 27-foot bowrider built for watersports and everyday cruising. Powered by a Volvo Penta V8-430 engine with Electronic Vessel Control, it features Cobalt's factory Surf Components Package, including trim tabs for wave shaping and a hydraulic swim platform with integrated step. The boat rides on a Volvo Forward Drive dual-prop setup and carries an 86-gallon fuel tank. An electric Prisma folding arch with rotating shade provides shade and mounting points for wakeboard racks.

The interior is finished in Summit, Ebony, and White with Beehive accent detailing throughout. The helm features dual Volvo 8610 glass cockpit displays, a wireless phone charger, and a cockpit heater with pull-out vent. Sof-Trac mats line the gunwale step, entry, helm footrest, cockpit, bow, and swim platform. The head compartment includes seagrass flooring and a porta potti.
