2026 Cobia 285 Open Center Console

The 2026 Cobia 285 Open Center Console is a 28-foot fiberglass center console built for both recreational and tournament fishing. Twin Yamaha F300XSB2 outboards power the boat, with capability for additional engine options up to 700 horsepower. The open layout provides full walk-up access to the bow and stern, designed to maximize fishing functionality and crew comfort across the deck.

The cockpit features two insulated fish boxes with macerated overboard drains, kite rod holders, and optional deep-drop capability with reinforced gunnel boards and electric reel outlets. The helm includes a premium seat with integrated tackle center and cooler with slide, and can accommodate dual 16-inch Garmin screens. A hardtop with integrated frame and glass windshield provides weather protection, while a JL Audio sound system with eight strategically positioned speakers delivers audio throughout the boat.
