The Contender 28 Tournament is a center console offshore fishing boat built on a twin-stepped hull with an open deck layout. The 28-foot fiberglass hull measures 8.83 feet across the beam and is powered by twin outboard engines in the 300–400 horsepower range. The boat is available with digital throttle and shift systems, and optional joystick piloting for precise boat handling.

The console can be ordered in standard or deluxe configurations with integrated windshield, and the helm supports custom dash layouts for major electronics platforms. The leaning post offers options including tackle storage, slide-out cooler, or integrated livewell. Deck configurations are flexible—choose a forward coffin box, open bow, or lounge seating, and select transom layout options like a fold-down bench, dive door, or open cockpit.

Fishing amenities include dual pressurized livewells up to 40 gallons each, rod holder packages for gunwales, leaning post, T-top, and transom, plus electric reel outlets and mounts for downriggers or outriggers.
