2026 Contender 39 ST

The 2026 Contender 39 ST is a center console fishing platform built on a fiberglass hull measuring 39 feet in length with a 10-foot-10-inch beam. The boat is powered by three Yamaha F-series outboards—two F350XSA2 models and one LF350XSA2—for a combined maximum rating of 1,600 horsepower and a fuel capacity of 500 gallons. The helm features Yamaha's Helm Master EX system with digital electric steering, an Edson upgrade wheel, and Livorsi Model 950 trim tabs for precise control.

Navigation and connectivity come through dual Garmin GPSmap 9219xsv displays, a Garmin 1234 xHD3 open array radar, and a Garmin 743 chartplotter linked by Garmin BlueNet 30 gateway. Dual ICOM M510 VHF radios handle communication. Electronics include an Airmar B265LH thru-hull transducer and GSD 28 sounder module. Audio is delivered by JL Audio components: an MM105 stereo amplifier, 600/1 and 400/4 amplifiers, six 8.8-inch speakers, two 7.7-inch speakers, and four 10-inch subwoofers.

The fishing layout centers on a sport console with an XL coffin box featuring electric lift, aft fish box with gulper pump and overboard drain, and livewell with clear lids and LED lighting.
