The Cutwater C-248 Coupe is a 31-foot cruiser built on a contemporary take of Downeast hull design. Powered by a single Yamaha 250 hp outboard, the boat features a double-stepped hull with Laminar Flow Interrupter technology that improves efficiency, reduces fuel consumption, and helps the boat plane quickly. The design emphasizes visibility, with 360-degree sightlines from the helm and an innovative aft bulkhead window that opens to convert the dinette seating area into a rear-facing cockpit seat.
Accommodation includes a private forward stateroom with wrap-around seating and a high/low table that converts to a full berth, plus a main salon dinette seating four that transforms into an additional two-person berth. A mid-berth sits below the dinette, suitable for children or storage. The galley is equipped with a sink, hot and cold water, stovetop, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. A marine head with holding tank serves the cabin.
Standard equipment spans navigation and entertainment systems, including a Garmin 943xsv chartplotter with sonar, color Yamaha engine display, VHF radio, and a Bluetooth-enabled Fusion stereo. LED lighting, sport racks, integrated rod holders, fish box, and transom cooler support fishing and water sports. Additional features include foldaway cockpit seating with bolster cushions, concealed ski tow, and built-in trailer lights.
