The 2026 Cutwater C-248 Coupe is a 30-foot fiberglass cruiser built for coastal cruising and weekend getaways. Powered by a single 250 hp Yamaha outboard, it features a double-stepped hull with electric trim tabs, laminar flow interrupters, and a bow thruster for responsive handling. The boat is trailerable at 8'6" beam and includes an autopilot for long-distance comfort.
The cabin layout centers on a private forward stateroom and a midship berth, with a dinette that converts to a bed and accommodates four at the table. The galley is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dual-fuel cooktop, and sink with hot and cold water. The main cabin features a 19-inch TV/DVD entertainment system, Fusion multi-zone stereo, LED lighting throughout, opening portlights, and solar reflective hatches. A diesel forced-air furnace and marine toilet with holding tank and pump-out complete the interior.
The helm is built around a Garmin 943xsv navigation system with GPS and sonar, paired with a Garmin xHD radar, Yamaha color engine display, and digital fuel flow data. Single-lever electronic shift and throttle control simplifies operation. The spacious cockpit includes built-in seating, a fish box/cooler, electric grill, cockpit sink, and soft-top cover. An opening glass bulkhead with reversible seat adds flexibility to the outdoor space.
Deck features include an electric windlass with bow and helm controls, anchor package, stainless steel sport racks and boarding ladders, swim step, livewell, and underwater lights. Construction uses foam-filled fiberglass stringer grid with vinylester barrier coat, while the electrical system includes dual panels, inverter, battery charger, and 30A shore power inlet.
