2026 Delta Powerboats 54 IPS
About This Yacht
The Delta 54 IPS is a 59-foot carbon fiber cruiser built by Swedish manufacturer Delta Powerboats. The hull employs vacuum-infused composite construction—carbon fiber, vinylester resin, and Divinycell foam core throughout—delivering a dry weight of just 12,800 kilograms. This lightweight design enables performance rarely found in production motor yachts: twin 800-horsepower Volvo Penta IPS engines drive the boat to 38 knots, with a cruise speed of 30 knots burning only six litres per nautical mile. A 450-nautical-mile range suits extended Mediterranean transits. The boat is certified to CE Category B offshore standards, with a modest 1.40-metre draft and generous 4.60-metre beam.
The design prioritizes seamless integration between interior and exterior living. Large sliding glass doors, a panoramic electrical sunroof on the cabin roof, and a captain's starboard door blur boundaries between saloon and deck. The pilothouse centers on an alcantara-clad steering wheel with dual Garmin 22-inch HD multifunction displays, Volvo Penta IPS joystick controls for single-handed operation, and individually folding captain seats. The foredeck, side decks, and aft cockpit provide spacious deck arrangements throughout.
Below, the accommodation sleeps six across three cabins. The forward owner's stateroom features a private en-suite with separate shower, a premium 20-centimetre mattress with seven-centimetre memory foam topper, and individual climate control. Two amidship guest cabins offer flexible twin or optional double berths, each with premium bedding and independent air conditioning. The day bathroom features Duravit sanitaryware, Italian mosaic tilework, Corian countertops, and Vola fixtures by Arne Jacobsen. The galley showcases teak or oak cabinetry finished in eight layers of varnish, Corian surfaces, and Miele appliances including cook top, combined oven-microwave, and integrated dishwasher.
The saloon combines three-seat forward and six-seat aft sofas in Sunbrella upholstery with removable ottomans and foldable tables. Solid teak or oak flooring throughout the interior, eight layers of varnish, removable designer fabric panels, and integrated LED spotlighting establish a restrained Scandinavian aesthetic. Twin Mastervolt combi inverter-charger units support four AGM starting batteries and two Li-ion service batteries, while a Fischer Panda 14–19 kilowatt generator provides silent auxiliary power. Navigation includes Garmin GMR 24 xHD Radome radar, autopilot with electronic steering, depth sounder, VHF with DSC, and AIS transponder. Volvo Penta Interceptors optimize trim and fuel efficiency across all speed ranges.
