The Dracan 42 is a 42.65-foot power catamaran built in aluminum with a contemporary design suited for cruising. It is powered by a single Mercury gasoline engine producing 400 horsepower. The boat measures 21.59 feet at the beam and features a shallow draft of 0.60 meters, making it suitable for navigation in confined waterways.

The interior accommodates up to four cabins with two heads and includes a full galley and social cockpit. The aft platform is designed for swimming and water activities. Interior appointments are customizable, with options ranging from two to four sleeping cabins. Standard equipment includes LED lighting throughout, an electric windlass, electrical toilets with separate waste tanks, a 130-liter refrigerator, and comprehensive freshwater and fuel storage with two 200-liter water tanks and two 500-liter fuel tanks.

The boat comes equipped with a soft-top canopy, stainless steel railings and grab rails, a bow thruster system, modern navigation electronics including speed and depth transducers, and a full electrical system. The cockpit features a beverage bar and the exterior is finished in white hull with white top and Silvertex upholstery. Mooring gear, a swim ladder, a horn, and fire suppression systems for fuel compartments are included as part of the standard specification.
