The 2026 Excel 1860 Shallow Water F4 is an 18-foot aluminum center console runabout built for shallow water operation. Powered by a single 90 hp Yamaha engine, it features the F4 hull design—a flat-bottomed platform with a step deck and triple tapered chine. The hull is fully welded aluminum with longitudinal 2" by 4" ribs in 6063 alloy, designed to glide over skinny water with minimal resistance. A 17-degree transom supports optimal motor trim control and accommodates surface-drive setups.
The boat is laid out around a front high deck with full-length storage, rod and gun boxes, and a dedicated fuel tank storage area. The rear features an E.I.P pod seating arrangement with a step deck that serves as entry point and vantage platform. Storage includes starboard gunwale trays, under-driver-seat compartments, and a mesh-covered bow locker. An 11-gallon fuel tank is integrated into the design.
Standard equipment includes extruded gunwales with rubber rub rail and slotted mounting surface, bow rails, and full flotation. An 800 GPH bilge pump handles water management. Lighting and electronics consist of navigation lights, a recessed control panel with courtesy light and 12-volt plug, and standard LED floor lights. Additional factory options span camo patterns, a bow-mounted winch, trolling motor compatibility, upgraded lighting packages with RGB capability, and various seating and accessory upgrades.
