The Excess 11 is a 37-foot fiberglass catamaran powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines. With a beam of nearly 22 feet, the hull delivers the stability and interior volume typical of modern cruising catamarans. The boat features a spacious cockpit with hardtop, forward balconies, and comprehensive deck equipment including electric winch, electric windlass, and folding three-blade propellers.
Below deck are two cabins and one head. The main saloon includes wood cabinetry, Kerrock countertops, and a preinstalled audio system. The galley and owner's head both have Kerrock work surfaces. Fresh water capacity totals 600 liters across two tanks, with 400-liter fuel capacity. A 290-liter dinghy with 6 hp motor and stainless steel davits are included.
Navigation and comfort systems are comprehensive: a 12-inch Garmin chartplotter with autopilot and AIS receiver, VHF radio, wind and depth instrumentation, and Garmin Reactor autopilot with remote control. Electrical infrastructure includes dual 140 amp-hour AGM service batteries, 40-amp charger, solar panels, and shoreside 32-amp AC connection with 220V outlets throughout. Heating is provided, and the boat features electric head, LED lighting, and fresh water washdown pump.
Deck canvas includes a grand sail with boom, roller-furling jib, and code zero with pole and bag. The boat carries semi-offshore safety certification for six persons, with canvas bimini and side screens completed in grey. Deck and cabin finishes feature teak-tone veneers, exotic wood cockpit table, and orange textile accents from the Pulse Line package.
