The Fountaine Pajot FP41 is a 39.7-foot catamaran with a beam of 22.67 feet, built from fiberglass and powered by twin Yanmar 3JH40 diesel engines of 80 horsepower each. The hull design delivers the stability and spaciousness characteristic of multihull cruising, with broad side decks and a substantial cockpit for comfortable ocean passages.
The layout includes three cabins with slatted berths and accommodation for two heads. The interior features a convertible saloon table, handrails on the companionway, and porthole curtains. Galley appliances include a full-size refrigerator, 12-volt cooler, microwave oven, and washing machine. The main cabin offers an electric toilet and 44–48 kW air conditioning throughout. A fixed bimini provides weather protection over the helm station, with additional seating cushions on both the front lounge deck and cockpit.
Electronics and navigation equipment include dual VHF radios with AIS functionality, Garmin 3 Smart Cruising system with dual GPS units and multi-function displays, radar with mounting and cabling, and a preset TV and HIFI antenna. Power systems comprise a 9 kW Onan generator, additional 150-amp AGM battery bank, and a 2000-watt charger/converter offering both 220V 50Hz and 110V 60Hz options. An electric winch powers the mainsail, with a second electric winch for jib sheets. The boom features full-length battens, lazy jack, and lazy bag for simplified sail handling. Additional features include an electric windlass with counter control, gennaker gear with pole, electric dinghy platform rated to 150 kilograms, and a deck shower with hot water.
