The Fountaine Pajot FP41 is a 39.7-foot composite catamaran powered by twin 80-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines, designed as a modern cruising platform for extended ocean passages. The hull form emphasizes horizontal lines that give the boat an elegant profile typically seen on larger models, while its sail plan and responsive handling make it equally capable on coastal passages and long-distance voyages.
The deck plan centers on dual helm stations positioned to command clear views of the water, sails, and crew, with all instrumentation consolidated in a single pod. The cockpit and cabin spaces feature multiple lounging areas including sunbeds integrated into the bimini and cabin roof, plus a daybed built into the aft port rail. A full-width three-panel window connects the main saloon directly to the aft cockpit, while a large opening panel serves as a pass-through between the galley and forward salon.
The interior accommodates five cabins and five heads across two layout options. The owner's version features a suite occupying the entire port hull, while the four-cabin layout maximizes accommodation flexibility. All cabins benefit from large hull windows and wide berths designed into the hull sheer. The boat's internal volume has been optimized to deliver comfort both underway and at anchor, with particular attention to sea-keeping design principles fundamental to the cruising catamaran concept.
The FP41 is available with diesel propulsion as specified, or as a hybrid-electric variant developed in-house by Fountaine Pajot to maximize renewable energy integration and cruising range.
