The Fountaine Pajot FP44 is a 43.5-foot fiberglass catamaran powered by twin Yanmar diesel engines of 114 horsepower each, fitted with a folding three-blade propeller. The generous 24.4-foot beam provides substantial interior volume and deck space across the multihull platform.

The Maestro version features three cabins and three heads. The layout incorporates comfortable seating with Swedish-style chairs positioned for both helm and lounge areas. Interior amenities include hot water showers, pressure water systems, and electric freshwater pumps. A 90-liter 12-volt cooler and cockpit refrigerator support provisions, while a 2000-watt charger-converter manages both 220-volt and 110-volt power systems. Audio equipment comprises a Fusion Bluetooth sound system with Bose speakers and marine television capability.

Deck equipment includes a fixed bimini top, exterior cushioning on the cockpit and lounge areas, an electric windlass, and a gas cooktop. Navigation systems feature a Garmin Smart Cruising unit with autopilot, VHF, and AIS, paired with dual multifunction displays. A 30-kilogram anchor with 80 meters of chain and swivel complete the ground tackle.
