2026 Fountaine Pajot FP48 Catamaran

The 2026 Fountaine Pajot FP48 is a modern cruising catamaran spanning 47 feet with a 26-foot beam, built from fiberglass and powered by two 114-horsepower Yanmar diesel engines. The hull is fitted with a gaff mainsail with full battens, lazy jack, and electric winch for the main halyard, complemented by an in-mast furling genoa system. Navigation is supported by a Garmin chartplotter, radar with antenna, and a VHF radio pre-wired to the mast. The catamaran reaches a maximum speed of 10 knots and cruises at 8 knots.

Accommodations include five cabins with berths in three cabin areas—slat bed bases are fitted—and five enclosed heads with electric toilets. The saloon features a convertible square table, forward lounge seating, and aft port-side sofa. An upper deck includes a fly table and fixed bimini over the helm station, with additional cushioned seating throughout the cockpit and forward sun lounging area. Exterior areas include handrails on stairways and supplementary mooring cleats.

Systems include 220V AC power with a 2000W inverter-charger, an 11-kilowatt generator, and a 150-amp auxiliary AGM battery. A 68,000-BTU air conditioning unit maintains cabin comfort. Water systems feature pressurized seawater, a warm-water deck shower, and a galley-mounted gas cooktop with integrated grill. The cockpit has an electric refrigerator, courtesy lighting throughout, and dual sump pump activation.

Additional equipment comprises a 32-kilogram anchor with chain, anti-fouling and epoxy primer on the hull, a hydraulic tender platform, mooring kit with six fenders, Bimini cushioning in cream and black vinyl, Fusion Bluetooth audio system, and a winch controller with chain counter. The boat is available in November 2026.
