2026 Fountaine Pajot New 44
About This Yacht
The Fountaine Pajot New 44 is a 44-foot sailing catamaran built from fiberglass with a beam of just over 24 feet. Her design balances seakeeping and performance with a focus on comfort and livability. The hull features a discreet chine above the waterline, inverted deck sheer, and a sleek rig refined for both elegance and efficiency. The spacious cockpit, flybridge, and forward relaxation areas create generous outdoor living space, while the cabin remains in direct visual and physical contact with all working areas thanks to the dual helm and sail-handling stations positioned for clear sightlines and ease of crew coordination.
The interior opens broadly to the cockpit through large windows and a central island layout that softens the boundary between outside and in. An enlarged nacelle provides substantial volume and storage throughout. The New 44 is available with either three or four cabins. The aft berths sit slightly diagonal for comfortable access; forward cabins benefit from the hull's generous beam. The Maestro version adds flexibility with options to configure the forward cabin as either sleeping quarters or a work area, and a further forward space adaptable as a nursery or workshop.
The New 44 is equipped with the ODSea+ electric drivetrain and can carry up to 2,000 watts of solar panels for auxiliary power. The mid-height helm station offers commanding visibility and precise steering control, while the forward sail-handling station sits adjacent to the rig for efficient sail trim. The double manoeuvring stations have become a favored feature among catamaran sailors. The boat is designed for blue-water cruising and offshore passage-making without compromising the comfort offered at anchor or in settled conditions.
