The Fountaine Pajot Thira 80 is a 78-foot fiberglass catamaran built for comfortable cruising and entertaining. Twin Yanmar diesel engines of 220 horsepower each provide the power. The design centers on open-air living, with forward and aft cockpits that flow directly into a light-filled saloon through sliding glass doors. Side cockpits feature opening wings, and a beach club at water level opens fully to the sea. Storage throughout the boat accommodates water toys—forward lockers for paddleboards and dive gear, and a dedicated compartment aft for a water scooter tucked under the central bench seat.
Accommodations are arranged as true suites and guest cabins finished with leather upholstery, wood trim, and careful detailing throughout. The owner's cabin includes a Jacuzzi. Four heads serve the interior. The main saloon organizes around a lounge, bar, and chart table, with a separate desk space also finished in leather. A flybridge above offers dedicated areas for relaxation, reception, and navigation, with twin helm stations centered to keep working areas clear of social spaces.
The design retains Fountaine Pajot's signature style—a pronounced coachroof line and large windows positioned lower than the deck edge create unobstructed views of the water. The boat combines original, purpose-built spaces with refined materials and thoughtful layouts that distinguish it from other yachts in its size range.
