The 2026 Front Runner 43 is a catamaran built for offshore fishing, combining wide beam and stepped hull design for stability and fuel efficiency. At 43 feet with a 12-foot beam, the boat measures 1000 gallons of fuel capacity and delivers a maximum speed of 70 knots with a cruising speed of 45 knots. The standard configuration features quad Mercury V8 300 engines with Optimus electric steering, a flared bow, and lifting strakes that work together to provide a smooth ride in heavy seas.
The boat's fishing setup centers on serious tournament capability: two 55-gallon transom livewells, two floor livewells, and six rod holders spread across the boat, supplemented by a forward lounger with 12 molded-in rod holders and a pair of 22-foot Gemlux outriggers. A sea chest system supports the livewell network. Garmin electronics include dual 22-inch displays, autopilot with controller, and a 4-foot open array radar, while communication runs through two ICOM VHF radios. The JL Audio system provides eight speakers, two subwoofers, and two amplifiers throughout the cabin.
The layout features dual-row seating in the cockpit under a hardtop with LED lighting. Freshwater and saltwater washdowns, a curved polycarbonate windshield, telescoping dive ladder, and tackle storage with slide-out coolers round out the standard features. The boat comes with fiberglass construction and allows for significant engine upgrades to quad Mercury V10 400 engines or V8 500R options, as well as optional additions like night vision, electric anchoring, custom paint, and teak seating.
