The G3 Bay 17 is a compact aluminum runabout built for shallow-water fishing and casual cruising. At 17 feet 2 inches long with a 92-inch beam, this all-welded hull features a shallow draft designed for access to skinny water. The saltwater-ready construction uses corrosion-resistant fittings throughout, making it suitable for both freshwater and coastal environments.

The layout centers on a center console helm equipped with Yamaha analog gauges and controls. Twin casting decks provide space for anglers, with ample storage compartments distributed throughout. The boat seats four people and carries a 19-gallon fuel tank. Twin livewells—a 19-gallon forward livewell and a 14-gallon unit mounted under the seat—support serious fishing pursuits, backed by an 800 GPH bilge pump for water management.

The engine rating maxes out at 75 horsepower, keeping operating costs reasonable while delivering adequate performance for this class. Standard equipment includes an aluminum trailer fitted with LED lights, providing straightforward towing and launch capability.
