The 2026 Grady-White Freedom 285 is a 28-foot dual console built on the manufacturer's hand-laid SeaV² hull, known for offshore capability and reliability across varying sea conditions. Twin 300-horsepower Yamaha outboards power the boat, paired with joystick control for added maneuverability. The wide 9.5-foot beam and open cockpit layout maximize usable space while maintaining the sleek, sporty profile the model is designed around.

The cockpit combines fishing functionality with comfort. A 118-quart forward fish box and 185-quart aft livewell with 1100 GPH pump support serious fishing. Four cockpit rod holders, one transom holder, and three horizontal rod storage racks provide tackle organization. Seating includes an adjustable helm chair with extendable lounge, a companion bench with similar lounging capability, bow cushions, and a foldaway aft bench. A port-side cockpit door with boarding ladder and recessed freshwater shower add practical convenience.

Below the hardtop is a lockable head compartment with electric flush marine toilet, 10-gallon holding tank with macerator, sink, and bulk storage.
