2026 Hewescraft 270 Pacific Explorer

The Hewescraft 270 Pacific Explorer is a 28-foot aluminum cruiser built on an 8-foot-wide offshore hull designed for extended time on the water. Twin Honda 250 hp outboards power the boat, with an additional Honda 15 hp auxiliary engine at the rear helm. The design balances fishing-ready construction with added comfort and convenience, incorporating a variable deadrise hull and recoverable flotation.

The boat features dual helm stations with power-assist steering, a bow thruster operable from both main and secondary controls, and a sliding bulkhead door separating the helm and cabin areas. Navigation and communication equipment includes a Garmin 8610 Xsv multifunction display with Fantom 18 radar and a Garmin VHF 215 with AIS. A Lewmar Pro-Fish 1000 windlass with anchor pulpit and welded treadplate guard manages ground tackle.

Accommodations include a V-berth with flushing head and a cabin with orthodek flooring. Heating and cooking are provided by dual Wallas diesel units—one heater with overhead fans and one combination stove-heater. A 110-volt shore power outlet with isolation transformer and charger supplies electrical needs. The galley and systems are designed for multi-day cruising comfort.

Fishing features are integral to the design: in-floor fish boxes with macerator system, an insulated transom fish box, a wash-down system, rooftop rod holders and rocket launchers, 60 inches of welded track on the gunwales, and mounting provisions for downriggers. The boat comes with an EZ Loader trailer equipped with electric and hydraulic brakes.
