2023 Hewescraft 270 Pacific Explorer ET Hardtop

The 2023 Hewescraft 270 Pacific Explorer is a welded aluminum cruiser built for Pacific Northwest conditions. Twin Yamaha 400-horsepower four-stroke outboards power the boat to a cruising speed around 25 knots with efficient fuel consumption, and a top speed near 40 knots. The shallow draft and outboard setup allow access to shallow anchorages and protected waters where deeper-hulled boats cannot go. Trim tabs help maintain a level ride in varying sea states.

The boat is organized around a fully enclosed hardtop helm with shock-absorbing seating and a large self-bailing cockpit suited to fishing and gear handling. A Lowrance chartplotter with sonar and fish-finding capability is installed at the helm. Forward of the helm sits a single cabin with a V-berth, electric cooktop, compact sink, and an enclosed head for overnight use.

The aluminum hull is constructed from heavy-gauge welded plate, designed for durability and long-term reliability in rough water. The layout prioritizes function over frills, combining practical overnight accommodations with a working cockpit and straightforward systems that are economical to operate and maintain.
