The Heysea SV60 is a 60-foot sailing catamaran designed by naval architect Bill Dixon in collaboration with Heysea's design team. With a 29-foot beam and fiberglass hull, the catamaran carries two 150 hp Volvo engines and reaches a maximum speed of 10 knots. The design integrates performance sailing with luxury cruising, suitable for private ownership, family use, and charter operations.
The foredeck departs from traditional catamaran layout by replacing trampolines with an expansive sunbathing lounge oriented toward ocean views. The aft deck features a sofa and dining arrangement for entertaining, with an optional hydraulic swim platform that converts between entertainment terrace and water sports access. A flybridge above provides panoramic sightlines, outfitted with sun cushions, dining space, and optional barbecue capability.
Below deck, the main-deck salon opens through dual sliding glass doors to both forward and aft decks, emphasizing natural light and flow. The accommodation layout provides four to six cabins with en-suite bathrooms, offering approximately 30 percent more interior volume than comparable sailing yachts in this size range. This flexible cabin configuration accommodates extended family cruising or multiple guests.
