2026 Highfield Ultralite 240

The Highfield Ultralite 240 is a compact aluminum-hulled runabout just under 8 feet in length, designed as a tender for sailors, cruisers, and yacht owners. Built on Highfield's aluminum platform with Mehler Valmex PVC tubes, the hull combines durability with low maintenance—the powder-coated aluminum hull resists water absorption and delamination, and the tube design eliminates concerns with gelcoat chipping or fiberglass cracking common to traditional construction.

The boat accepts a single outboard engine—a 6-horsepower Mercury, Yamaha, or Suzuki—providing responsive propulsion suited to harbor work, tender duties, and day-use operation. The UL240 is finished in Storm/Dark Grey, with other colorways available.

Built to withstand repeated use and rough handling, the aluminum construction allows beaching, ramp launching, and regular dock contact without cosmetic or structural damage. The boat's weight and size make it practical for towing and deployment from larger vessels.
