The Hobie Mirage Passport 10.5 is a pedal-powered kayak built around the Mirage Drive system with Glide Technology and Kick Up fins. The retractable fins protect the drive mechanism when approaching shallow water, logs, or other submerged obstacles, then resume normal operation once you clear the obstruction and resume pedaling.

Steering is managed by a stowable rudder that keeps your hands free for fishing or photography, distinguishing this design from traditional paddle kayaks.
