The Jasper Marine Defender 22 is a 27-foot aluminum runabout built around a deep-V hull designed for stability and a dry ride across varied water conditions. Powered by a single 500 hp Mercury engine, it planes quickly and cruises at 30 knots while remaining light enough to tow and launch easily. The shallow draft and beachable hull allow access to sandbars, coves, and beaches beyond the reach of deeper-draft boats.
The open bow layout prioritizes usable space with forward and aft seating, a self-bailing cockpit, and an 8.5-foot beam that supports fishing, diving, watersports, and day cruising. An enclosed bow with cuddy berth option is available. The boat includes one head.
Built with commercial-grade construction in lightweight aluminum, the Defender 22 handles chop and delivers the stability needed for extended time on the water. This model is in production and allows for equipment configuration choices before completion.
