2026 Key West 188 Bay Reef

The 2026 Key West 188 Bay Reef is an 18-foot bay boat built on a fiberglass hull with an aggressive V entry designed for a smooth, dry ride. Power comes from a single 115 hp Yamaha gasoline engine. The hull is foam-filled and unsinkable, constructed with no wood to eliminate rot concerns, and carries a ten-year warranty. At just 1,600 pounds with a 12-inch draft, the boat is highly trailerable.

The layout prioritizes fishing functionality. A large front casting deck sits forward, backed by livewells at both bow and stern. Gunwale-mounted rod storage keeps gear organized and accessible. The self-bailing cockpit handles water naturally, while removable storage tubes at the transom conceal the bilge for easy access. Battery storage for cranking and trolling motors is built into the console floor, keeping power sources protected and out of the way.

Standard equipment includes Yamaha cable steering with analog gauges and a Garmin Echomap 64CV chartplotter and fishfinder with CV23 M transducer. The boat also features a Clarion AM/FM stereo system with Bluetooth capability.
