The 230 Bay Reef is a 23-foot fiberglass center console built for serious fishing. Powered by a single 250 hp Yamaha engine, it combines the rod storage capability of its smaller sibling with increased length and beam that open up the cockpit considerably. The deeper hull—both inside and out—delivers reasonable open water capability alongside solid inshore performance, backed by foam-injected stringers, closed-cell positive floatation, and a ten-year hull warranty.
The boat is arranged around a forward console with seating and a spacious enclosure suitable for a head or changing area with lighting. Two aerated livewells—one forward and one aft with LED lighting—serve fishermen of any level. Rod storage is distributed throughout: lockable forward compartments, gunwale-mounted holders, and console-mounted racks accommodate even the longest fly rods. A single-leg lean post with a 72-quart cooler and slide sits aft, complemented by fold-down transom seats with cushions and six cup holders.
Equipment includes Sea Star hydraulic tilt steering with a stainless steel wheel, trim tabs with indicators, dual battery switch, electric horn, raw water wash-down kit, anchor locker with anchor, and a trolling motor plug. The molded non-skid liner, tinted windshield with grab rail, black rubber rub rail, courtesy lights with water-resistant switches, and folding stern light complete the package. A large bow compartment and built-in fuel tank provide additional storage.
A trailer is included with the boat.
