The Lagoon 51 Iconic is a 51-foot sailing catamaran built from fiberglass with a beam of 26.58 feet. Recognized as Multihull of the Year 2023 by Cruising Magazine and awarded Multihull Yacht of the Year by British Yachting Awards in 2022, this design emphasizes both performance and environmental responsibility. The boat features a distinctive visible furling boom mechanism that allows precise observation and control of sail handling, along with a high-roach mainsail with optional square-top configuration. Upwind sail area totals 149 square meters, with genoa and optional code 0 sails available. The catamaran carries two 80 horsepower engines.

The interior layout prioritizes comfort for extended cruising. The owner's suite serves as a private retreat with an optimized layout and walk-in closet. The design accommodates either four or six cabin configurations, providing flexibility for different cruising needs. The flybridge features an innovative modular layout with thoughtful ergonomics, creating a relaxed space to enjoy views while underway or at anchor.

Environmental integration is central to the design. The woodwork comes from FSC-certified forests, and upholstery is made entirely from recycled materials. Large solar panels are integrated into the coachroof to power onboard equipment sustainably. The unique aft transoms and swim platform create a true balcony on the water, offering safe and easy movement both while cruising and at anchor. With a water draft of 1.40 meters and air draft of 23.1 meters, the boat provides practical shallow-water capability while maintaining sailing performance.
