The Lagoon 55 is a 55-foot fiberglass catamaran built with a modern hull design that balances contemporary aesthetics with the brand's heritage. Twin Yanmar diesel engines of 160 horsepower each power the boat. The wide 29.5-foot beam provides substantial interior volume and deck space typical of the catamaran platform.

The layout is spacious and oriented toward outdoor living. The aft cockpit functions as an extended deck area with unobstructed sightlines, while the cockpit and flybridge have been redesigned for practical movement and comfortable time aboard. The interior features a generously proportioned central galley and accommodations spread across multiple cabins, with interior spaces designed to feel open and unhurried.

The Millennium special edition variant offers six equal-size cabins with identical appointments and can accommodate up to twelve people, making it suitable for extended cruising or charter use. Throughout the boat, the design emphasizes comfort and privacy, with abundant natural light and flow between living areas.
