2026 Lowe Roughneck RX1860 Tunnel Jet
About This Yacht
The 2026 Lowe Roughneck RX1860 Tunnel Jet is an 18-foot aluminum center-console runabout built for shallow-water operation. Its weight-forward design combines a modified-V hull with a jet tunnel configuration and raised transom, allowing access to skinny water while protecting the jet outboard from damage in rocky shallows. The boat is powered by an 80-horsepower Mercury four-stroke jet engine.
The layout centers on a full console with windscreen, grab handle, and recessed switches. Two pedestal fishing seats occupy the bow and stern decks, while a forward-facing passenger seat and cushioned driver's seat with storage flank the console. The 19-gallon fuel tank sits under the console, paired with a 23-gallon aerated livewell at the bow and a three-rod port-side holder. Bow storage includes two sealed compartments, and additional storage tucks beneath both driver and passenger seats.
Construction uses all-welded aluminum throughout, with a full-length stringier grid, integrated trim tabs, sponson pods, and an extruded center keel. The spray-in floor liner covers decking, sidewalls, and gunnels in a protective Roughliner finish. A 27-inch aluminum transom features a welded transducer bracket and drain plug, reinforced with a heavy-duty knee brace. The bilge pump moves 500 gallons per hour, while an 800-gallon-per-hour aerator pump services the livewell.
Included equipment comprises an accessory receiver gunnel, four mooring cleats, navigation lights, and a trolling motor harness. The boat comes with a galvanized bunk trailer fitted with swing tongue, vinyl bunks, and 1,800-pound capacity, plus a spare tire mounted on custom aluminum mag rim with retractable tie-downs.
