The 2026 Malibu Wakesetter 21 LX is a 21-foot, 6-inch high-performance wake boat built for versatility on the water. It measures 102 inches across the beam, draws 27 inches, and weighs approximately 5,000 pounds dry. The boat accommodates up to 13 people and carries a 55-gallon fuel tank. It comes with a choice of two hull designs: the Wake Plus hull for surfing or the Diamond hull for multi-sport use including wakeboarding, surfing, and slalom skiing.

Power comes from a Malibu Monsoon M5Di engine producing 360 horsepower, with an optional M6Di upgrade available at 430 hp. The boat features the Power Wedge III and Surf Gate systems for customizable wave creation. Standard equipment includes the Malibu Command Center with dual touchscreens, wireless phone charging, and the new Ascend Tower with quick-fold capability that integrates speaker mounts and board racks.

The interior has been redesigned with updated vinyl for improved durability, and the exterior styling is new with a shorter windshield design. With its compact footprint and trailer-friendly proportions, the 21 LX suits size-restricted lakes while carrying over 3,400 pounds of ballast to shape the water conditions.
