2026 Malibu Wakesetter MXZ 23 MXZ

The 2026 Malibu Wakesetter MXZ 23 is a 23-foot premium ski and wake boat built for both serious watersports and family recreation. Powered by a Monsoon M6Di engine producing 430 horsepower, it combines aggressive performance with the advanced surf and wake technology Malibu is known for. The boat features a distinctive pickle-fork bow design that maximizes interior space and provides excellent sightlines from the helm.

The layout centers on a spacious cockpit with wraparound seating and a convertible rear lounge. Forward seating takes advantage of the roomier bow area, while the helm features a memory seat with swivel function and dual touchscreen displays for system control. The swim platform includes soft-grip flooring and a flip-down step with pull-up cleats. Storage is distributed throughout the cabin and in-floor compartments, with additional capacity in an ice box.

This boat is equipped with Malibu's full suite of water-shaping systems: a Surf Gate with Surf Band for customizable wave generation and a Power Wedge III for fine-tuning wake shape and height. Ballast includes bow-mounted eMLS4 systems and a high-flow plumbing setup with auto venting. The audio system comprises Wet Sounds Rev 8 speakers with a horn and a 12-inch powered subwoofer, with a tower amplifier for the wake-zone speaker setup.

Standard features include a panoramic PTM mirror with 140-degree viewing, wideview backup camera, LED docking and underwater transom lights, port and starboard lower tower racks with pivoting mounts, a dual-coverage Bimini top with board storage, and a tandem-axle trailer with ebony frame.
