2026 MasterCraft XT22

The 2026 MasterCraft XT22 is a 22-foot-4-inch wake and surf boat built on a hand-laid fiberglass hull. It sits in the middle of MasterCraft's lineup—larger and more capable than the NXT series but more manageable than the X-Series flagships. The beam measures 102 inches amidships with 86 inches of usable interior width, and the boat is rated for 16 people or 2,400 pounds of passenger weight. At 5,485 pounds dry weight with a 3,500-pound ballast load, it maintains a shallow 29-inch draft and tucks into standard dock slips and garage bays.

Power comes from the Ilmor 5.3L GDI HO VD 2.1 V8 paired with the full MasterCraft SurfStar wake-shaping system. The SurfStar setup includes electric-over-hydraulic actuators with position sensing, side-to-side switching, attitude adjustment plate, stock ballast, plumbed ballast bags, and tracking fins. This build adds Fastfill Ballast for quicker bag fill times. The XT Dash helm features a 12-inch touchscreen with MyDrive encoder, integrated radio and maps, and a factory rear-facing tower camera for live surfer visibility. Onboard telematics relay real-time boat health and location to the MasterCraft app.

Audio is robust: the MasterCraft SoundStage includes four Meridian 8.5-inch interior speakers, two 7-inch speakers, two 10-inch subwoofers, an 8-channel amp, and DSP with full zone control. This XT22 adds two Meridian M80 black tower cans with a 2-channel amp. The convertible center seat drops flat into a sunpad, and sunpad flip seating at the stern converts the swim step into a dedicated lounging zone. Standard equipment includes a pop-up ski pylon, tower bimini, engine flush kit, auto and handheld fire extinguishers, 6-inch popup cleats, and depth finder.

This boat is finished in Navy Flake and Flint Gray with black satin Chromax and graphics, a black tower with clamping board racks, and a black BTS windshield. The interior layers Coolfeel Flint Gray primary with Bowmore Midnight Black and Coolfeel Flint Gray accents over a Deckadence Gray floor with charcoal flake detail.
