The Mazarin 55 Evo II is a modern 55-foot sailing catamaran featuring a redesigned hull and rig optimized for performance and comfort. The design emphasizes a lighter, lower profile with an extended boom positioned lower for better weight distribution, paired with increased sail area and a lengthened bowsprit. The fiberglass hull comes standard, with options for Kevlar reinforcement and carbon-strengthened frame and bulkheads available. Twin Yanmar diesel shaft drives rated at 160 horsepower provide propulsion, with the boat capable of 8 knots cruising and 10 knots maximum speed.
The interior accommodates five cabins and five heads across a flexible layout. The beam of nearly 28 feet delivers generous cabin width and living space. A lighter composite flybridge with integrated hardtop sits above, offering expanded outdoor entertaining area. Deck access is straightforward, with both electric and manual winches positioned for ease of use. An optional fixed aft-deck extension is available for tender stowage or additional cockpit space.
Standard equipment includes a 12-kilowatt generator, enhanced air conditioning capacity, and a 5-kilowatt inverter. Navigation and safety systems are integrated throughout. Optional upgrades include solar panels up to 3.1 kilowatts, additional lithium battery capacity up to 30 kilowatts, and a hydraulic tender platform. The design was created by iYacht GmbH and comes with CE certification.
