2026 Mitzi Skiffs 15
About This Yacht
The Mitzi 15 is a lightweight composite flats skiff designed for shallow-water fishing. At just under 15 feet long with a 6.4-foot beam, it carries up to three people with a loaded draft of only 6 inches. The modified-vee hull with 12-degree deadrise delivers a dry, quiet ride and poles virtually silent, making it suited for bonefish, redfish, and other flats work.
The boat features a center console layout with remote steering controls and a front deck offering 4 to 8 feet of open casting space. Walk-around gunwales and four fly-rod tubes accommodate anglers' gear. A full bench seat includes two dry storage compartments, and the self-draining cockpit feeds to the bilge. Foam floatation fills the hull bottom for safety.
Power comes from a Tohatsu 30-horsepower fuel-injected outboard with electric start and power tilt/trim, delivering speeds to 26 mph and cruising speeds around 17 mph. The boat accommodates power ranging from 20 to 30 horsepower depending on preference.
This example includes a poling platform with top, an aluminum single-axle trailer, portable 6-gallon fuel tank, switch panel, bilge pump, and navigation lights. All structure is composite construction with pull-up stainless steel cleats, heavy-duty rub rails, and a Teleflex steering cable.
