The 2026 Nautitech 40 Open is a fiberglass catamaran built for both sailing performance and comfortable cruising. Powered by two 60-horsepower Volvo Penta diesel engines, the 40-foot hull spans 22.6 feet at the beam, offering the stability and spaciousness that define the catamaran platform. The design draws on Nautitech's French heritage and incorporates refinements from their larger Open models.
The layout centers on an open living concept where the saloon, cockpit, and deck connect as one flowing space. Natural light floods the interior through large windows, creating an airy atmosphere. The design accommodates up to eight people and emphasizes both social gathering and ease of movement throughout the boat.
Standard features include black GRP davits, black balconies and stanchions, a fiberglass bowsprit, upgraded running rigging, and GoÏot hardware including Magic Deck hatches and cleats. The windshield features flush glazing, and the rear glazing has been simplified for a cleaner profile. A Signature Edition option adds a full black aesthetic with a black lacquered mast and boom, white-lacquered forward crossbeam, black cathedral, black trampoline nets, and hexagonal black helm wheels.
