The Nautitech 41 Type S is a new-build sailing catamaran designed around a philosophy of lightness and performance. At 41 feet in length and nearly 24 feet in beam, it is engineered as one of the lightest catamarans in its class, achieved through refined hull optimization, multi-material composite construction with carbon fiber reinforcement, and a carefully considered weight distribution. The design, by Marc Lombard Yacht Design Group, features reverse bows that extend the waterline, fine hulls shaped for precision, and an aft-stepped mast integrated into a compact hardtop structure that centralizes weight and enhances responsiveness. An expansive glazed aft bulkhead delivers 360-degree visibility from the cockpit.
The hull structure uses carbon fiber and vinylester composites in load-bearing zones to balance durability with performance. The rig is configured around a mainsail and genoa for pure sailing characteristics, with an optimized sail-area-to-displacement ratio that reduces pitching and maintains stability even in stronger conditions. Twin aft helm stations offer panoramic views and straightforward handling from either position.
Interior spaces are modular and functional, with convertible furnishings and SmartRoom configurations that adapt to different cruising styles. Deck circulation flows intuitively from the swim platform through the trampoline to side decks, minimizing obstacles and supporting both casual day sailing and longer passages. The catamaran is designed with future adaptability in mind—pre-wired and pre-planned for technical upgrades, allowing the boat to evolve with changing needs and technologies over its life cycle.
