The 2026 Nimbus 305 Drophead is an open day cruiser built on Scandinavian design principles centered on simplicity and functional elegance. Constructed from fiberglass, the boat measures 33 feet in length with a 10-foot-8-inch beam. It is powered by a single 270-horsepower Volvo diesel engine and designed around the Smart Speed concept, which optimizes comfort across a wide speed range from 0 to 22 knots without a distinct planing threshold. The hull delivers fuel efficiency at all speeds and allows the captain to adjust pace according to sea conditions.

The open layout prioritizes social engagement and entertaining. The interior showcases Scandinavian restraint in design, with carefully selected materials creating a spacious, airy feel. Light-colored bulkhead covers reduce noise, while mahogany fittings provide warmth against lacquered surfaces.
